The Ugly Duckling

I read The ugly Duckling, a book in the Folk & Fairy Tale series.
It was written by Violet Findley.
 
Once upon an time, five eggs began to hatch.
Four were fluffy and cute.
One was gray and ugly.
The cute ducks were mean to their ugly brother.
They said, " You are ugly! Go away!"
So ugly duckling became shy.
But one day, a swan swam over and spoke to him.
And he said, " Have you looked in a mirror lately?"
That made the ugly duckling curious.
He had grown into a beautiful swan.

My favorite scene is, of course, the ugly duckling grown into a beautiful swan!

This story is very interesting.
So I recommend it.
