I read Information Technology, a book in the Oxford Bookworms series.
It was written by Paul A Davies.
Computers are everywhere - in our homes, our schools, our shops, offices and hospitals. We use them every day, but what do we know about them? Where did they begin, and when? What is Moore7s Law, and how do you pass the Turing Test? What can Deep Blue do, and how did Nolan Bushnell begin with 500 dollars and end with 28 million dollars? In this book you can find the answer to all these questions - and much more.
Thanks for this book, I could learn about history of computers. It is interesting for me to know about history of the first computers, the PC, Microsoft and the Internet. And I was excited to think about the future of the computer. I thought that computers will do many different jobs in the world of the future - perhaps they will drive taxis or work in shops.
