BR:10 All about desert life

Today I read "All about desert life", a book in the Oxford University Press series. It was written byJulie Penn.

I've never seen a desert. I know it's a tough world, but I'd love to see it once. I'm planting trees to stop desertification, but I don't think it's a panacea. In China, it seems that the dryness is going to be reversed.... Japan, the pollen is supposed to be great. I think that it is not possible to think that there is a magic cure which can be easily solved in an instant. I think that it is only to do honestly and to think. Desertification is a big problem. How can we do to stop it?

It's so imterested story. So if you are interested, please read it. I recommend it.

BR9: Aladdin and the enchanted lamp

Today I read "Aladdin and the enchanted lamp", a book in the Oxford University Press. It was written by James Lovelock.

This story is simplified version of "Aladdin and Magic Lamp". It is totally different from Disney's story! The jeanie is too plain. He is poor, but he dislikes to work. Also he does not help his mother.  I can not sympathize with Aladdin in Disney story at all. It's just story that he is using only the power of the lamp and ring to do whatever he wants to do. I think was it a strange edit, or was it originally a story like this, with all the doubts... This story is interesting in a sense so I recommend it. If you are interested, please read it.

BR8: Agatha Christie, woman of mystery

Today I read "Agatha Christie, woman of mystery", a book in the Oxford University Press. It was written by John Escott.

It's a biography of Agatha Christie. The story
that Agatha Christie disappeared is too famous. Her life is mysterious and interesting. I was able to read interesting stories such as romance history and hard work talks until debut. She is a girl with immovable seat, but I understood well that she was a woman who suffered from one person. It's so deeply and interesting story. If you are interested, please read it. I recommend it.

BR7: The adventures of Oliver Twist

Today I read "The adventures of Oliver Twist", a book in the Oxford University Press. It was written by Charles Dickens, illustrated by George Cruikshank and an introducted by Humphry House.

This is the story of a pure innocent boy named Oliver Twist. Oliver, who grew up in a hospital, was kicked out of the hospital. One day he met the bad guys in London. And, it will be dragged into a hidden world. It was a strange story that various things happen to Oliver's body with evil people living in a terrible world, believers in Oliver and good guys trying to help. It's so exciting story so I recommend it. If you are interested, please read it.

Today I read "The adventures of Huckleberry Finn" , a book in the Oxford University Press. It was written by Mark Twain, retold by Diane Mowat and illustrated by Paul Fisher Johnson.

Huck is a lazy young wanderer who lives with Alcoholism father and he has no mother. Hack meets the Gim who is a black slave. He has bought his wife and children from the downstream. But they has been lived separately. Huck and Gim try to cross the north of the Ohio River in search of freedom. I was excited all through reading. BR5: Who, sir? Me, sir?

Today I read " Who, sir? Me, sir?", a book in the Oxford University Press series. It was written by K.M. Peyton, retold by Diane Mowat and illstrated by Kate Simpson.

Some poor students give battle to elite students with tetrathlon; the sports like triathron. With various obstacles, the road opens with the help of people, gaining courage and confidence, we will have the day of the competition. The story have love, friendship and goals. So I can read with a pleasant tempo. But beecause there are many characters, it is necessary to read carefully. I thought it is excited story so I recommend it. If you are interested, please read it.
