BR11: The adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Today I read "The adventures of Huckleberry Finn", a book in the Oxford Bookworms Library series. It was written by Mark Twain, retold by Diane Mowat, and illustrated by Paul Fisher Johnson.

Who wants to live in a house, wear clean clothes, be good, and go to chool every day? Not young Huckleberry Finn, that's for sure. So Huck runs away, and is soon floating down the great Mississippi River on a raft. With him is Jim, a black slave who is also running away. But lifeis not always easy for the two friends. And there is 300 dollars waiting for anyone who catches poor jim...

The last was a happy ending, and the free-spirited lines of the hack were a good impression. it's a so exciting story. If you are interested, please read it. I recommend it.

Twain Mark. The adventures of Huckleberry Finn. (2000). Oxford: Oxford University Press.
